Sure, but hard work is still a thing. I usually love your writing but imho you are trivializing things a bit (maybe intentional). I think David Kadavy nailed it. You can be lucky, talented, etc. but if you don’t put in at least somewhere close to the effort of the other grinder, shit just isn’t going to get done. I think the key point is work hard but put that hard work into focused effort, not busy work. Like David said, “out-focus people, don’t out-work them”.
